Prior to Kandi's teaching career at Glenmore, she competed on the Professional Women's Tour and played with such professional golfers as Dottie Pepper, Juli Inkster, and Nancy Lopez. Kandi has been named one of the Top 50 Female Teachers in the country by Golf for Women and was ranked the number two golf instructor in Virginia by Golf Digest's 2003 America's Greatest Teachers and Best Teachers in Your State Survey.
Early in her career, Kandi received the highest honor bestowed on an amateur when she was selected to play on the U.S. Curtis Cup Team. Her amateur career was so successful that Golf Digest listed her as one of the top ten amateur women golfers in the United States.
While on the Futures tour, Kandi won the Town of Colonie Tournament and was runner-up in the Farmstead Tournament. In addition, she competed in five U.S. Women's Open Championships, with her best finish being fourteenth in Plainfield, New Jersey.

Kandi learned the game from the late Davis Love, Jr., and she continues to promote his basic philosophies in her own teaching.
Seasoned golfers, professionals, and amateurs alike praise Kandi for her superb teaching skills, as well as her in-depth knowledge of the game of golf. Kandi has a cutting edge teaching center at Glenmore complete with video featuring three cameras and a state of the art short game practice area that she uses to coach noted professional Dottie Pepper and many of the top juniors and amateurs in the state. In fact, Kandi is responsible for four of Glenmore's junior golfers receiving college golf scholarships. Please visit Kandi's website.
